Terms of Service

These terms of service apply to the artist, Mintjeru, and the client, who is commissioning a work of art. By commissioning artwork, the client agrees to the following:GeneralThe artist reserves the right to decline any commission.Communication will be through email ([email protected]).The final product will be a 2 in. x 2 in. sized PNG file in 300dpi.UsageThe commissioned artwork will be for personal use only.Only the artist and the client may distribute the commissioned artwork.The artist reserves the right to post the commissioned artwork online and include it as a part of their portfolio.The client may not claim the artwork as their own. If the client posts the artwork online, they must credit the artist in their post.The client may not alter the artwork. Cropping the artwork for personal icons, headers, or wallpapers, however, is allowed.The commissioned artwork may not be used for blockchain- or AI-related technology.PaymentPayment is only accepted in USD.Payment will be made 100% upfront through Paypal.If payment is not received within 7 days of the invoice being sent, the artist will consider the commission slot forfeited.The artist will not begin work until payment has been made in full.ProcessTurnaround time varies, with an estimate of 1-2 months at the latest.Before work begins, the client will provide:- At least 2 visual references (ex. A character design sheet, Picrew, etc.)- 1 pose reference (ex. A detailed description, stick figure drawing, etc.)After confirmation of receipt of payment, the artist will send sketches for selection.If the commission is a flat color or a full color piece, the artist will send 1 work-in-progress update after the sketching stage depending on the commission type:- Flat color: WIP sent after lineart has been completed- Full color: WIP sent after both the lineart and base coloring have been completedFinally, the artist will complete the piece and email the client the finished product.RevisionsDuring the sketching stage, the client is allowed 1 major revision (ex. Changing the pose or angle) and 2 minor revisions (ex. Adding a scar, slight color edits).After the sketching stage, no more major revisions are allowed.The client is allowed 2 minor revisions after the sketching stage. Any additional minor revisions will require an additional payment. The artist will not proceed with the additional revisions until this additional payment is received.Cancellation and RefundsThe artist reserves the right to cancel a commission after having accepted it, under the condition that the artist provides the client with a full refund.The client will not be given a refund if they cancel the commission after the artist has confirmed receipt of payment. In the case of cancellation from the client’s side, the artist will retain full rights to the piece.The client is expected to be responsive to communications through email. If the client does not respond to communications for 14 consecutive days, the artist will consider the commission canceled from the client’s side, will not give a refund, and will retain full rights to the piece.The client will not be given a refund if they are unsatisfied with the final product.The client may not request a chargeback; the artist will refund the client themselves. If the client requests a chargeback at any point, they will lose all rights to the commissioned piece and the artist will have full rights to profit further from the piece in any way. The artist will decline the chargeback and will supply customer service with email communications as evidence that the artist has completed work for the client. Furthermore, the client will be blacklisted from commissioning the artist again.

Can I still commission you even if I don't have a Paypal account?
Yes, because you can still pay through Paypal without an account! After you receive the invoice in your email inbox, select the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" option to proceed with payment.When can I expect my commission to be completed?
Turnaround time depends on factors such as complexity, speed of communication, and more. However, 1-2 months is the estimate for the longest a commission should take to finish.I have a question that hasn't been answered here.
